If you are a seller in California, you must confirm that you are a permitted MEHKO (Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operations) operator in your county. You must comply with all local health and safety laws.

Buyers will see a notice stating: “This food is prepared in a home kitchen and may not be inspected by a health department.” Buyers must also check a box to confirm:
“I agree to purchase meals prepared in a home kitchen.”

4. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information during signup and ordering
• Maintain confidentiality of your account login
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws when buying or selling
• Only post or upload content you have the rights to share

5. Complaint and Feedback

Buyers may report issues through a complaint form located on the order confirmation screen or via the user profile. Reports include reason, orderId, and a description field.

6. Payment and Taxes

• Payments are processed through third-party platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, or Venmo.
• Sellers are responsible for their own income and sales tax obligations.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms, or for any reason deemed necessary to protect the integrity of our Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any illness, injury, or loss related to meals purchased or sold on our platform. All users are responsible for their own compliance with applicable food safety regulations and laws.

9. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting it on our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display it within the app and promote it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States. All disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within Los Angeles County, CA.
